Course Delivery:
This bridging program provides the Occupational First Aid or First Responder with the extra skills and medications to become a licensed Emergency Medical Responder.
Recommended for
People pursuing a career as a Level 1 Paramedic, oil rig medics, mining medics, fire fighters.
Content
Patient assessment, pulse oximeter, blood pressure, nasal airways, nitrous oxide, ASA, nitroglycerin, sager splint, IV maintenance, etc...
Prerequisites
Minimum age: 16 years old, valid OFA 3 Certificate or valid FR Certificate
Cost
$750 - this includes cost of manuals and all course supplies.
Schedule
This course is offered over five weekdays (Monday to Friday) or two weekends.
