Occupational First Aid - Level 2

35 Hours

 

The Occupational First Aid Level 2 course prepares a candidate to work as a first aid attendant. Basic life support skills are reviewed as well as wound care and other assessments to allow safe interventions until an ambulance arrives.

 

Recommended for

Emergency response teams, safety officers, police, fitness personnel, people requiring certification, general public.

 

 

                                           This is a WorkSafe BC recognized course.

 

 

Content

Basic first aid and critical interventions are taught with oxygen therapy and treatments to manage a patient until medical help arrives. Designed for First Aid Attendants.

Minimum age: 16 years old
