This Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) course is an intensive scenario-based program for health care providers. The course is intended to provide health care professionals with guidelines for the recognition and treatment of lethal arrhythmias and acute coronary syndromes aimed to reduce death and disability of patients who suffer cardiovascular emergencies. The ACLS program can be tailored to meet various professional environments where the management of these emergencies is required.
Recommended for
Health-Care Professionals where medication administration is within their scope of practice (e.g. Dentists).
Content
General Content includes: respiratory emergencies, cardiac arrest and pre-arrest emergencies. Medications within the scope of practice will also be covered. Please note: these topics can be tailored to the field required.
